Professional Background: I work for the John Muir Institute of the Environment, UC Davis. I am a project manager and supervise a variety of water quality monitoring projects throughout California. Family and Personal Background: I was born in Augsburg, Germany in 1972 and came to the Davis, CA in January 2002. My parents still live in Augsburg, so does my sister and her family. Athletic Background: I started road biking in 2004 after my running career ended abruptly after two knee surgeries. I started racing in June 2005, upgraded to a category 3 in spring of 2006, in which I kept racing throughout the remainder of the season. Why are you involved in Team Donate Life? Because it combines my passion with a wonderful mission.
