Professional Background:
I'm a Senior Quality Improvement Coordinator for Golden State Donor Services.
Family and Personal Background:
I live in Carmichael California with my husband Steve. We have 3 dogs and 3 cats. I was born and raised in Sacramento, and although I lived in southern California for six years, there was never a doubt in my mind I would come back home.
Athletic Background:
I have an older brother, a younger brother and 2 older sisters. We are all very close, but being between two boys, I feel I may have been a bit of a tomboy. I joined my first soccer team when I was 6 years old. On my first day of practice I approached the coach and said "I think somebody made a mistake” I was positive I was supposed to be on the next field where the boys were playing.

In college I started running 10ks. I run two marathons a year, but my favorite is trail running for as long and as far as I can go.
Why are you involved in Team Donate Life?
TDL is the perfect way for me to bring my 2 greatest passions together; the outdoors as well as education and awareness on organ donation.
