Professional Background:
Ex-soldier with 36 years in the Australian and British Air Forces. Now in full time retirement.
Family and Personal Background:
Married to Lyn with 3 adult children and a grandson. Spent the last 16 years working in the United Kingdom.
Athletic Background:
Just another club cyclist with a dream. Used to road race in my younger years. I now participate in endurance events and non-drafting races.
Why are you involved in Team Donate Life?
Like what TDL did in RAAM 05 and again in RAAM 06 (I was Crew Chief for solo rider Chris Hopkinson in 2005). I think that the TDL sponsored rider program is a great concept and a good way for average guys like me to be given a chance to participate in RAAM. It is also a great cause and TDL does a wonderful job and is something that I'm happy to be associated with.
