Thank you for your interest in joining Team Donate Life to compete in the 26th Annual Race Across America (RAAM). To
streamline processing, we have designed an application that will enable you to register for both TDL and RAAM on the
TDL website. Please review this summary before forwarding to the registration form.
To register:
Your application is not valid until all items are completed.
The local leader of a potential team contacts Kent Mulkey, TDL Executive Director, with intent to form a team. Email a roster of rider names (with alternates and crew members if team has them).
If you are an interested rider without a team, contact Kent Mulkey and we will attempt to match you up with a team that is filling out its roster, or list you as an alternate.
Submit non-refundable deposit payable to TDL of $500/rider. Deadline for early registration is 12/10/06. From 12/11/06-3/1/07 deposit will be $600/rider.
Teams will be assigned a name (e.g. TDL 8-Sacto) and instructed to have all cyclists go online to register. All cyclists must register individually. (Do not register on the RAAM website).
Print out TDL/RAAM waiver. Sign and send to TDL, with copy of driver's license. To expedite processing, collect and send all documents for your team members together in one packet (checks, waivers, copies of driver licenses). A copy of all documents will be kept at TDL HQ and a set will be submitted to RAAM.
Email a photo of each rider to TDL. (approx 350 x 350 pixels) Team photos will be arranged. Bios of all riders are required for both the RAAM website and TDL website.
TDL requires members to participate in coordinator positions for their respective teams. (e.g. fundraising, media, equipment coordination). Although TDL HQ will provide guidance and templates, each team will be responsible for a major portion of their own management during the Race.
Each rider must also solicit an item for the TDL Gala Silent Auction May 19, 2007. Due 5/1/07
We request that each rider secure a silent auction item with a minimum value of $200.00, however, items of greater value are encouraged.
TDL will provide you with coaching, training, resources and sponsorship ideas for you to be successful in your fundraising efforts.
One short sleeve jersey, one long sleeve jersey, one pair of shorts and 2 pairs of socks will be provided.
Payment schedule:
$500/rider non-refundable deposit for registration due by 12/10/06
(increases to $600/rider 12/11/06 to 3/1/07)
