For some time I have been looking for something to really get involved with that could make a difference in people's lives. Well, that something came to me. Some good friends of mine, Tiffany & Jared Ellison, have four children, one of their son's, Connor, has a genetic liver disease that they didn't know he had until four years ago. One day, hopefully later rather than sooner, Connor is going to need a liver transplant. But until then.... Connor has a dream of riding his bike across America. This June, Connor, Tiffany & Jared along with five other team mates are going to ride in a bike race, dubbed the hardest race in the world, called Race Across America RAAM. This would be hard for anyone but Connor is only 12 years old and he will be the youngest person ever to attempt this feat.
Tiffany & Jared have asked me to be part of their "crew" during the Race. I'm honored, to be invited to be part of the crew and I have a feeling it's going to be a life changing experience.
