This is a very special year for us as we prepare to embark on our new life together.
In the spirit of new beginnings Lorenzo has decided to crew for the first time after three RAAMs as a rider. There is no one we would rather support than Connor Ellison and his team of friends and family. Connor is 12 years old and was born with a rare liver disease that may eventually require a liver transplant. Despite his health problems, including a recent shunt surgery, he is always enthusiastic about life, willing to help others, a strong rider and fun to be around.
He will be the youngest rider to ever complete the Race Across America and has decided to ride with Team Donate Life in support of organ donation awareness. This is a cause very close to our hearts as Lorenzo is a transplant physician and Colette’s father is a liver transplant recipient.
