GO TDL GIVE HOPE!!!!!
I wish I were there to see you guys FLY LIKE THE WIND as you bring it in with all you have over the next 6 hours! I am sure riders and crew are exhausted at this point, but the last bit of adrenaline will kick in as you push to the finish... especially when you all join forces and feed off each other's competitive spirit! Yeah!!! You have all been awesome (riders and crew), and we could not be prouder of you. Stay strong... and stay safe!

You can do this. It's called global warming and it's much better than freezing! Even though you are getting Old(F), you know this is a great endeavor. Make the most of it, and again, I wish I could be there. Any fireflies yet?

My competitive drive is on fire… it doesn’t matter who is in front of you. You just want to win. You want to be the very best that you can be… and you want to push your body to its edge… maybe beyond.

The finish line is now in front of us. Will we leave everything on the road and give it all we have? I am sure of it!

At Chillicothe, Ohio ~ we had 505 miles left to go (2,512 miles down). Here is our strategy: Team 1 just finished 3 Time Stations. Now Team 2 will take 3 time stations, starting at 7:30 PM (eastern race time). That should bring us to about 4:30 AM. Team 1 will again take over for 2 time stations, followed by Team 2 for 2 time stations. This should bring us to some time around noon. With about 100 miles left, we’ll all jump out with alternating transitions to the finish line.

Can we beat 6 days (5 PM eastern)? Can we beat the TDL Grace Valley record (6 days, 2 hours, 56 minutes?). The challenge will be how we handle the Appalachian Mountains… we are now racing against the clock!

Stay tuned !!
